Bad Omens tease a new album with the release of 'Specter'

18.08.2025

American metalcore outfit Bad Omens have unveiled their latest single, Specter, sparking speculation that a new full-length record could be on the way. The track sees frontman Noah Sebastian and his bandmates lean further into their dark, atmospheric sound, combining brooding melodies with driving intensity. Early reactions from fans suggest the song may serve as a first glimpse of a larger project currently in the works.

Bad Omens first broke onto the scene with songs like The Worst in Me and Just Pretend, quickly establishing themselves as one of the genre’s most forward-looking acts. Their 2022 release The Death of Peace of Mind expanded their reach well beyond the metalcore scene, showcasing a blend of crushing riffs, electronic textures, and soaring choruses that resonated with a broader audience. Specter continues in that vein, pointing toward the next phase in the band’s evolution.

That next chapter will also take shape on stage. On December 1, 2025, Bad Omens headline Forest National in Brussels, joined by Bilmuri and The Ghost Inside. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 22, at 10 AM.
